Our story
jobMentor.ai was founded in 2021 by Erzen Hyko, a computer science graduate and ex-HHU student. Erzen had long been involved in mentoring IT graduates from Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. During this time, he realized that many graduates and young professionals needed support at the start of their careers, a finding that the Bavarian Graduate Panel (BAP) had also noted in an article back in 2010.
At the same time, Erzen had repeatedly met experienced colleagues in his professional career who were willing to pass on their valuable experience to less experienced colleagues.These encounters and insights led to the vision of creating a platform where these two groups - the seekers and the givers of knowledge and experience - could get in touch with each other.Thus, the idea of jobMentor was born.
